Water cooled chillers and air cooled chillers with EVR6-012S Solenoid Valve:


The air cooling refrigeration unit is suitable for the small and medium sized water supply system in this area. The longer the annual operating time is, the more favorable the air-cooled refrigeration unit will be. The annual comprehensive cost of the air cooling unit is lower than that of the water cooling system, but if the system is managed and the water supply is controlled below 3%, the initial investment of the air cooling unit is difficult to recover compared with that of the water cooling unit.

Compare the two units:

1. Water-cooled chillers must be equipped with cooling towers. For an open cooling circulating water system, CO2 escapes into the air as the cooling water absorbs heat and contacts the air. Dissolved oxygen and turbidity increase in water, forming a cooling circulating water system. Major problems: corrosion, scaling, bacterial growth, sludge. If water quality is not treated, refrigeration equipment will be seriously damaged, heat exchange efficiency will be greatly reduced, resulting in energy waste. Therefore, it is very important to treat the water system with corrosion inhibition, scale inhibition, sterilization and algae.

The cooling system of a water cooled chiller must be equipped with an electronic water treatment unit or a ferromagnetic water treatment unit. Otherwise, the heat dissipation efficiency is too large. The longer you use it, the worse the system will be. The annual cost of water treatment is high, the effect is less than 100. % descaling. The quality of cooling circulating water is key. The treatment of cooling circulating water is divided into physical treatment and chemical treatment.

2. Water/air cooled chillers are available for small systems. Most large units are water cooled. The initial investment of water cooling is less than that of air cooling. But with cooling towers and machine rooms, electronic water treatment equipment, there is no place to go! In addition, long-term operation of the water cooling unit, the cooling efficiency will be relatively reduced, and the air-cooling drop is small.

3. The air-cooled chiller adopts the air-cooled mode, which eliminates the cooling tower, cooling water pump and pipeline system essential to the cooling water system, avoids condensation of the condenser and blockage of the water pipe, and saves the water resources in areas with poor water quality. Is the most economical, the simplest cold water air conditioning equipment maintenance equipment.


The one-time investment of the air-cooled chiller is slightly higher than that of the water-cooled chiller, but the annual operating cost is lower than that of the water-cooled chiller. Among all kinds of air-conditioning cooling and heating source systems, the construction cost of the machine room is the lowest, and the maintenance cost is water-cooled.
